Flamboro Speedway Full of Action Despite Rain Shortening Night

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- Despite mother nature trying to get in the way of the action, most of the divisions were able to get their full scheduled night of racing in the books on Saturday, July 26.
Darren McLennan won the first T.Q. Can-Am Midgets feature presented by Miller Office Trailers ahead of Daniel Hawn, Jaden Riddell, Jeff Blackburn, Robert Pollillo, Jake Cowden, Larry Lawson, and Mike Westwood.
Dominique Smith won the second qualifier in front of James Stanley, Adam Racine, Tyler Cullen, Sherri Hogan, Alex Connell, and Andrew Whelan.
Sherri Hogan won the Dash 4 Cash, followed by Larry Lawson, Jake Cowden, and Alex Connell.
Unfortunately, the feature was not ran as a result of the weather.
Billy Schwartzenburg took the lead with four laps to go to win the lone Grisdale Enterprises Pro Late Model feature ahead of Kevin Albers, Kevin Gallant, and Darren Jones.
Karl Sault took the lead on Lap 7, and paced the rest of the Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stock feature ahead of Bobby Mercer, Matt Young, Tyler Lewis, and Chris Pendlebury. Dan Pettit finished sixth in front of Rory Markle, Spencer Riddell, and Shawn Taylor.
Karl Sault doubled down with a win in the second feature ahead of Bobby Mercer, Tyler Lewis, Chris Pendlebury, and Dan Pettit. Rory Markle placed sixth in front of Spencer Riddell, Matt Young, and Shawn Taylor.
Spencer Riddell took the lead on Lap 5, leading the rest of the way en route to winning the first Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stock feature ahead of Gary Slama, Hailey Hill, Matt Young, and Dan Storey. John Cote battled his way forward for sixth in front of Chase Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Leo Labarbera, and Rick Mitchell. Megan Mitchell, Chance Rogers, Mark Allan, and Teagan Ellis rounded out the field.
Chase Mitchell grabbed the advantage at the halfway mark to win the second feature ahead of John Cote, Matt Young, Dan Storey, and Gary Slama. Spencer Riddell battled his way forward for sixth in front of Chance Rogers, Rick Mitchell, Leo Labarbera, and Hailey Hill. Rachel Mitchell, Megan Mitchell, Teagan Ellis, and Mark Allan completed the field.
This Saturday, August 2, features Kids Right Night, with the on-track action including the Steel City Super Stock Rumble Series presented by EPIC Racewear, Gen3 Electrical Ontario Modified Racing Association (OMRS) Sports Mods, Canadian Vintage Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and the Southern Ontario Modified Assocaition (SOMA) Pro 4 Modifieds.
Flamboro Speedway is also in action on Tuesday, August 5 with the annual GOLD RUSH event for the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models. The night will also include a special 30-lap invitational for the Pure Stocks.
