The season may seem far away with the snow on the ground, but it’s in fact just two and a half months away. That’s why Flamboro Speedway is ready to meet and greet fans this weekend at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo.
Throughout the show, staff will be available in the booth to talk about the track’s plans for the upcoming season and answer any questions that attendees may have. While you are there, you will also have the ability to pick up a copy of the 2019 schedule so you can know exactly what is going on this summer. We also encourage those attending on Sunday to wish track promoter John Casale a happy birthday.
Flamboro Speedway will also be proudly displaying Tim Norris’ Ontario Pro Challenge car in the booth through the weekend.
The Ontario Pro Challenge Series is a spec 3/4-scale car racing series, providing a controlled environment for those wanting to battle against each other on a level playing field. Everybody runs the same equipment, with the freedom to adjust set-up to optimize performance and personal driving style.
The Ontario Pro Challenge series will visit the Milgrove, Ontario oval on four occasions throughout the summer. Notably, the track will play host to the series’ season opener on May 11 and the season finale on September 7.
Additionally, Flamboro Speedway will also have Dylan Sharpe’s brand new No. 17 Mini Stock on display. Known for his drifting, Sharpe will be competing full-time in the Mini Stock division in 2019 after scoring a couple Bone Stock victories last year.
Fans of the speedway will also want to check out the Quaker State booth, as Gary Elliott will have his No. 36 Late Model that he will be competing at Flamboro Speedway with throughout the season. The veteran is entering his 51st year of competition.
Taking place from March 8 to the 10 at the International Center, the Motorama show features a bit of everything for both car and racing enthusiasts. From special show features, to guests, there is something for you to do throughout the duration of the event. Details on the show are available at http://www.motoramashow.com.
