Flamboro Speedway To Host Twin NASCAR Pinty’s Series Races

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- The schedule for the 2020 campaign just hit national levels for Flamboro Speedway as they will welcome the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on August 29.

Series officials confirmed the 1/3-mile will host its inaugural event as part of their six race, three venue schedule, which features double headers at Sunset Speedway, Flamboro, and Jukasa Motor Speedway.

When they make the trip to Flamboro, series regulars will compete in twin 125-features.

As the same with previous events, no spectators will be allowed in attendance due to local, provincial, and federal guidelines. Fans will get to watch the event, though, on TSN and RDS in Canada, and MAVTV in the United States at a later date. The full broadcast schedule will be released later on.

“While we are disappointed that we are unable to run our intended schedule in front of fans, we’re looking forward to the return of racing in Canada,” said Chad Seigler, NASCAR vice president of international business development and partnerships. “I want to thank our friends at Pinty’s for helping us get back on the race track. We are working closely with local and provincial officials and our teams and drivers to put on safe events that are respectful of new regulations from the ongoing pandemic.”

Flamboro Speedway officials are excited to welcome the NASCAR Pinty’s Series this season, and be able to showcase their facility on a national television with TSN, RDS, and MAVTV. It’s an opportunity they cherish, knowing it came from a lot of hard work from those involved in reaching this point, from improvements made at the track behind the scenes to steady improvement in their weekly on-track product.
