Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It Flamboro Speedway Preview!

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- After seeing their night end early at the beach, it’s no secret the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It are ready to roll into Flamboro Speedway this coming weekend on Saturday, August 27.

A.J. Emms enters this weekend with confidence, following six consecutive podium finishes. The Millgrove, Ontario oval has treated him well with a pair of victories and six podiums over the past four seasons.

Luke Gignac enters this weekend hoping to keep things rolling, following a fourth at Peterborough Speedway for his second straight top-10 performance. He knows his way around Flamboro as he won an event in June 2017, and has backed it up with four top-five’s in his last six appearances.

Dale Reinhart will hope to keep the momentum rolling following three consecutive top-five performances. In his previous 10 starts at Flamboro, he has eight top-eight’s, including a pair of runner-ups.

Jason Keen hopes to keep the steady consistency rolling following a pair of sixth-place finishes back-to-back. In his last five starts at Flamboro, he has posted three top-five’s with just one finish worse than eighth.

Wally Wilson hopes to score his third top-10 finish of the season, following a season-best ninth at Peterborough Speedway. Notably, his best finish to date at Flamboro Speedway is 12th on two occasions.

Andy Kamrath is currently in the middle of a hot streak, riding a wave of back-to-back wins into the weekend, with five total on the season. He has been fast at Flamboro Speedway in each previous appearance, scoring three straight podiums including two victories.

Brad Pearsall will hope to have a solid performance in his first start back on the tour since running into motor issues in the season opener at Sunset Speedway. He has been fast at Flamboro Speedway in the past, scoring three top-fives in his most recent string of appearances including a runner-up.

Tommy Robb hopes to return to the top-10, following three consecutive results with a best finish of 11th.

TJ Edwards has been fast all season to date, as evident by his six consecutive top-five finishes, including a victory at Delaware Speedway. He was strong in his rookie campaign at Flamboro, as evident by a runner-up performance.

Herb Walters’ consistency is something he hopes to continue, following three straight top-10 performances on the tour.

Jake Watson has become a dark horse on the tour, as evident by no finishes worse than ninth through six appearances in 2022 including a season-best fourth. He knows his way around Flamboro, as evident by previous trips to victory lane in the Mini Stock.

Marshall Schrenk has been knocking on the door of victory lane all year, with no finishes worse than eighth in five tour appearances for 2022.

After a rough start to the year, Paul Townsend has somewhat turned things around with back-to-back top-10 performances. He got to hold the checkered flag last year at Flamboro after winning a heat, backed up by an 11th-place finish in the feature.

Tyler Liscum has been rocky to date, with a pair of top-10’s but bad luck also plaguing the team. With the car carrying new colours, he hopes that will be the luck to break the cycle.

Steve Trendell will look to be part of the conversation this weekend, after scoring a third in his first appearance with the tour in 2022 at Delaware Speedway. He knows his way around Flamboro from Canadian Vintage Modified competition, and placed ninth in last year’s feature.

He should be joined by TJ Marshall, who has proven his knowledge at Flamboro with nine trips to victory lane in CVM competition.

Bryan Batty hopes to keep the momentum rolling after three top-10’s in his last three tour appearances, including a pair of top-five’s. He has not been super strong at Flamboro, scoring a track-best 10th last season.

Bob Franks hopes to keep the momentum rolling after picking up a 10th-place finish at Peterborough Speedway.

Mike Hearty will look to return to the top-10 following a 13th-place finish in his most recent tour appearance.

Beyond those mentioned here, there are other drivers that may show-up this weekend so be sure to be in attendance to see these cars in action.
