Ricky Willigar and Jason Keen Victorious in Canadian Vintage Modified Action

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- In a night filled with action on Saturday, August 2, it was a pair of regulars to the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds taking home the victories.

Ricky Willigar dominated the first feature ahead of TJ Marshall, Mike Podd, Jordan Ramsbottom, and Rodney Rutherford. Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified competitor Jason Keen's return to the series saw him place sixth in front of Ty Riopelle, Scott Tonelli, Ian Henwood, and Mike Klotz. Samantha Trewolla was 11th, followed by Steve Murdoch, Heath Penney, RJ Croteau, Dave Evison Sr., and Cam Thomson.

Jason Keen dominated the second feature ahead of TJ Marshall, Ricky Willigar, Ty Riopelle, and Jordan Ramsbottom. Scott Tonelli was sixth in front of RJ Croteau, Dave Evison Sr., Samantha Trewolla, and Mike Klotz, Heath Penny was 11th, followed by Steve Murdoch, Ian Henwood, Mike Podd, and Rodney Rutherford.

Lane Zardo topped the board in Steel City Super Stock Rumble Series presented by EPIC Racewear time trials with a lap of 16.279 seconds ahead of Roy Wilkie, Justin Collison, Nick Troback, Chad Corcoran, Brendan Edgar, Jerry Broom, and Kris Lawrence.

Nick Troback led flag-to-flag en route to winning the feature in front of Lane Zardo, Chad Corcoran, Roy Wilkie, Justin Collison, JErry Broom, Brendan Edgar, and Kris Lawrence.

J.R. Fitzpatrick picked up the win in the first Gen3 Electrical Ontario Modified Racing Association (OMRS) Sports Mods feature filling in for Chad Strawn ahead of John Baker Jr., Ethan Thompson, Glenn Morris, and Rick Warnes.

Glenn Morris won the second feature in front of John Baker Jr., Ethan Thompson, and Rick Warnes.

Hailey Hill scored her first career Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stock feature victory ahead of Gary Slama, John Cote, Chase Mitchell, and Leo Labarbera. Division veteran Wayde Thorne was sixth in front of Phil Givens, David Rockwood, Chance Rogers, and Cody Wilds.

Gary Triska was 11th, followed by Mark Allan, Rachel Mitchell, Megan Mitchell, Caroline Kelly, Mike Hall, Brandyn Milligan, Connor Ross, Glenn Schmidt, and Teagan Ellis. Jeff Elslinger was 21st, ahead of Keira Gallant, Darren Glavin, Cam Thomson, Kris Lawrence, Craig Cole, Spencer Riddell, and Rick Mitchell. Notably, Riddell and Mitchell fell out of the event on Lap 4 following an incident on the backstretch.

Gary Slama took the lead with five laps to go to win the second feature ahead of John Cote, Phil Givens, Mike Hall, and Gary Triska. David Rockwood showed speed with a sixth in front of Chance Rogers, Cody Wilds, Chase Mitchell, and Hailey Hill.

Cam Thomson battled his way to 11th, followed by Teagan Ellis, Craig Cole, Brandyn Milligan, Rachel Mitchell, Connor Ross, Glenn Schmidt, Leo Labarbera, Megan Mitchell, and Rick Mitchell. Keara Gallant was 21st in front of Wayde Thorne. Several drivers only completed a single lap including Caroline Kelly, Darren Glavin, Kris Lawrence, Spencer Riddell, Mark Allan, and Jeff Elslinger.

Riley Mercer won the first Southern Ontario Modified Assocation (SOMA) Pro 4 Modifieds heat ahead of Ken Mercer, John Held, Brad Maitland, Brodie Gibson, Vic Devries, Andrew Snyder, and Kelly Martin.

Shannon Morrison won the second qualifier in front of Mark Lucas, Cliff Hodgkinson, Bob Mercer, John Fera, Jesse Gibson, and Shean Carey.

Bob Mercer won the main event ahead of Cliff Hodgkinson, Mark Lucas, Shannon Morris, and Josh Fera. Shean Carey was sixth in front of Ken Mercer, Riley Mercer, Andrew Snyder, and John Held. Brad Maitland was 11th, followed by Jesse Gibson, and Brodie Gibson.
