MILLGROVE, Ontario --- It may had been $15 admission night at Flamboro Speedway, but that does not mean the action on-track was anything less than exciting.
Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds
TJ Marshall took the lead on Lap 9, pacing the remaining laps of the 25-laps to win the first Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modified feature ahead of Mike Podd, Ricky Willigar, Jae Pepin, and Ty Riopelle. Rodney Rutherford battled inside the top-five, fading back late for sixth in front of Scott Tonelli, Maddux Pepin, Dave Evison Sr., and Ian Henwood. Samantha Trewolla was 11th, followed by Dustin Hood, Cam Thomson, and Jordan Ramsbottom.
Ricky Willigar took the lead on Lap 17, pacing the remaining eight laps to win the second feature ahead of Mike Podd, TJ Marshall, Rodney Rutherford, and Jae Pepin. Ty Riopelle was sixth in front of Maddux Pepin, Scott Tonelli, Dave Evison Sr., and Ian Henwood. Dustin Hood was 11th, followed by Samantha Trewolla, Cam Thomson, Jordan Ramsbottom, and Steve Murdoch.
Ty Riopelle won the Dash for Cash ahead of Scott Tonelli, Dave Evison Sr., Ian Henwood, Dustin Hood, and Samantha Trewolla.
GEN3 Electrical SportsMods presented by OMRS
Ethan Thompson won the first Ontario Modified Racing Series (OMRS) feature of the season ahead of John Baker Jr., Glenn Morris, and Rick Warnes.
John Baker Jr. won the second feature ahead of Glenn Morris and Rick Warnes.
Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks
Tyler Lewis led flag-to-flag to win the first Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stock feature ahead of Matt Young, Mike Thomson, Bobby Mercer, Mac Ingram, and Ryan Edwards-Kiss.
Mike Thomson paced all 25 laps to win the second feature ahead of Matt Young, Tyler Lewis, Bobby Mercer, Mac Ingram, and Ryan Edwards-Kiss.
Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks
Craig Cole took the lead on the last lap to win the Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stock feature ahead of Brandyn Milligan, Spencer Riddell, John Cote, and Chase Mitchell. Cam Thomson battled his way forward for sixth in front of Leo Labarbera, Rick Mitchell, Teagan Ellis, and Dan Storey. Chance Rogers battled up front early, fading back for 11th, followed by Hailey Hill, Mike Hall, Rachel Mitchell, Reece Bourgeois, Mark Allan, Megan Mitchell, Caroline Kelly, Owen Brooker, and Kris Lawrence.
Following the race, Craig Cole was disqualified, as a result moving everyone up one spot on the finishing order with Brandyn Milligan winning.
Rachel Mitchell scored her first feature win of the season ahead of her brother Chase Mitchell, John Cote, Dan Storey, and Chance Rogers. Spencer Riddell battled his way forward for sixth in front of Brandyn Milligan, Leo Labarbera, Megan Mitchell, and Hailey Hill. Mark Allan worked his way forward for 11th, followed by Caroline Kelly, Rick Mitchell, Owen Brooker, Cam Thomson, Teagan Ellis, Reece Bourgeois, and Mike Hall.
BCW Lumber Southern Ontario Pro 4 Modifieds
Shannon Morris took the lead on Lap 3, pacing the rest of the laps en route to winning the first Southern Ontario Modified Association (SOMA) Modified feature ahead of Brodie Gibson, Vic Devries, Michael Baker, Ken Mercer, Brad Maitland, and Riley Mercer.
This Saturday, July 5 at Flamboro Speedway will feature the third race of the season for theSteel City Rumble Series Super Stocks, as well as the Pro Late Models (50 laps. $2000 to win, based on 12 cars), Ontario Pro Challenge, Mini Stocks & Pure Stocks.
