TJ Marshall Sweeps Canadian Vintage Modified Features at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- TJ Marshall showed why he is a past champion for the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds, as he swept the pair of features on Saturday, August 16 at Flamboro Speedway.


TJ Marshall took the lead on Lap 6 to win the first feature ahead of Ricky Willigar, Jordan Ramsbottom, Mike Podd, and Cam Thomson. Scott Tonelli led the opening couple of laps, before having issues en route to sixth in front of Dave Evison Sr., Samantha Trewolla, Ian Henwood, and Doug Hood. Ian McIntyre was 11th, followed by Darren Dryden, RJ Croteau, Heath Penny, and Steve Murdoch.


TJ Marshall swept the night by winning the second feature ahead of Mike Podd, Ricky Willigar, Jordan Ramsbottom, and Scott Tonelli. Dave Evison Sr. ran inside the top-five early, fading back for sixth in front of Mike Klotz, Samantha Trewolla, Steve Murdoch, and Heath Penny. Cam Thomson was 11th.


Billy Schwartzenburg took the lead with six laps to go to win the first Grisdale Race Products Late Model feature ahead of Kevin Albers, Kevin Gallant, Rick Burbridge, and Shawn McGlynn.

Matt Young took the lead in the final laps to win the first Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stock feature ahead of Bobby Mercer, Ryan Edwards-Kiss, Chris Pendlebury, and Sterling Roberts. Dustin Goodfellow made his way forward for sixth in front of Rory Markle, Alex Stewart, Kris Lawrence, and Tyler Lewis.


The Blue Streak Contracting teammates swept the night as Bobby Mercer won the second Mini Stock feature ahead of Ryan Edwards-Kiss, Matt Young, Chris Pendlebury, and Sterling Roberts. Rory Markle was sixth in front of Alex Stewart, Kris Lawrence, and Dustin Goodfellow.


Craig Cole dominated en route to winning the first Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stock feature ahead of Hailey Hill, John Cote, Spencer Riddell, and Chase Mitchell. Cam Thomson made his way forward for sixth in front of Leo Labarbera, Rick Mitchell, Chance Rogers, and Dan Storey.


David Rockwood climbed from the back to 11th, followed by Mike Hall, Rachel Mitchell, Cody Wilds, Andy Wheller, Mac Ingram, Chris Pendlebury, Teagan Ellis, Jeremy Dungey, Darren Glavin, and Mark Allan.


Mac Ingram scored his first career feature victory in the second 25-lap affair ahead of Cody Wilds, David Rockwood, John Cote, and Cam Thomson. Spencer Riddell ran inside the top-10 throughout for sixth in front of Andy Wheller, Chase Mitchell, Craig Cole, and Chance Rogers.


Dan Storey fell back late en route to 11th, followed by Mike Hall, Leo Labarbera, Rick Mitchell, Hailey Hill, Mark Allan, Chris Pendlebury, Teagan Ellis, Jeremy Dungey, Darren Glavin, Zack James, and Rachel Mitchell.


This Saturday, August 23 will feature the Ontario Sportsman Series highlighting the night joined by The T.Q. Can-Am Midgets, Ontario Pro Challenge Series, Mini Stocks, and Pure Stocks.
