Wiligar and Keen Top List of Feature Winners at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- In a night full of great racing action, it was a pair of Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds familiar faces leading the night for the feature winners at Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, September 13.


Ricky Willigar won the first CVM feature after taking the lead on Lap 4, with TJ Marshall second ahead of Jason Keen, Ty Riopelle, and Jordan Ramsbottom. Mike Podd dropped back in the opening laps for a sixth in front of Dave Evison Sr., Chris Pendlebury, Steve Murdoch, and RJ Croteau, Samantha Trewolla and Heath Penney completed the field.


2023 Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified Champion Jason Keen won the second feature ahead of TJ Marshall, Mike Podd, Jordan Ramsbottom, and Ricky Willigar. Ty Riopelle battled his way to a sixth-place finish in front of Dave Evison Sr., RJ Croteau, Chris Pendlebury, Heath Penney, and Samantha Trewolla.


Billy Schwartzenburg won the first Grisdale Enterprises Pro Late Models feature ahead of Kevin Albers, Rick Burbridge, and Steve Arrand.


Billy Schwartzenburg swept the night by winning the second feature in front of Kevin Albers, Rick Burbridge, and Steve Arrand.


Mike Thomson took the lead on Lap 7 to win the first Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks feature ahead of Tyler Lewis, Chris Pendlebury, Andrew Smith, and Rory Markle, Unfortunately, Bobby Mercer was credited with sixth after falling out of the event on Lap 5 ahead of Michael Kenny, Matt Young, and Shawn Taylor.


Chris Pendlebury may have crossed the finish line third, but was credited with the victory following post-race technical inspection. Rory Markle was scored second ahead of Andrew Smith, Mike Thomson, Tyler Lewis, Michael Kenny, Matt Young, and Shawn Taylor.


Spencer Riddell made his way back to victory lane in the first Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties Pure Stocks feature ahead of John Cote, Gary Slama, Matt Young, and Chance Rogers. Leo Labarbera battled inside the top-three for the first half of the feature, fading back to sixth in front of Dan Storey, Chase Mitchell, Courtney Scott, and Brandyn Milligan. Mark Allan battled around 10th all feature long, crossing the checkered flag in 11th, followed by Rachel Mitchell, Rick Mitchell, Teagan Ellis, Mac Ingram, Reece Bourgeois, Megna Mitchell, Elijah Hawrylyshyn, Alexander Klotz, and Kris Lawrence.


Mac Ingram joined the list of the winners under the BT Racing banner by picking up the checkered flag in the second feature ahead of Chase Mitchell, John Cote, Matt Young, and Leo Labarbera. Brandyn Milligan was sixth in front of Spencer Riddell, Megan Mitchell, and Mark Allan. Courtney Scott battled inside the top-10 early, fading back in the second half for 11th, followed by Dan Storey, Rick Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Teagan Ellis, Eljah Hawrylyshyn, Alexander Klotz, Gary Slama, Reece Bourgeois, and Kris Lawrence.


Robert Mercer won the first BCW Lumber of Brantford Southern Ontario Pro 4 Modifieds heat ahead of Clay Morris, Mark Lucas, Ken Mercer, Cliff Hodgkinson, and Jesse Gibson.


Riley Mercer won the second qualifier in front of John Held, Michael Baker, Brad Maitland, and Glen Morrison.


Robert Mercer made it a perfect night in picking up the feature win ahead of Clay Morris, Mark Lucas, Cliff Hodgkinson, Ken Mercer, Michael Baker, John Held, Brad Maitland, Glen Morrison, and Riley Mercer.


This Saturday, September 20 we come together for a special evening as we honour the life and legacy of Bob McClurkin with a 30-lap Pure Stock Memorial Race featuring the Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks. Flamboro Speedway will also be crowning the champions for both the Grisdale Enterprises Pro Late Models and TQ Can-Am Midgets presented by Miller Office Trailers. Oh, and the night does not stop there with the Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks back in action, as well.
